Can you breastfeed after breast reduction surgery?
Many women can still breastfeed after breast reduction surgery. There is a strong potential that milk ducts and nerves can be severed during surgery. During the natural healing process of your body, the milk ducts and nerves can reconnect through processes known as re-canalization (severed milk ducts reconnect or develop new pathways) and re-innervation (nerves heal and reconnect).
